This super simple recipe with only four ingredients will become your new favorite sweet breakfast this fall. Its apple and cinnamon flavor is perfect for the season and it's perfect for using your ugly or old apple.

Your morning toast will love it!


3 apples, with the peel, cut into large cubes

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 box of 700g fresh dates, pitted

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract


Preheat the oven to 350F.

In a baking dish, combine the apples and cinnamon and cook, about 25 minutes, until the apples are very soft. Let the apples cool.

In a food processor, combine the dates with the vanilla extract in a smooth purée. Once evenly combined, add the apples and mix again until smooth and creamy.

Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate.
